Nasstar aligns with Ribbon and Techland for UK Voice Network

Ribbon Communications Inc. has set up a strategic collaboration with UK distributor Techland, a Gamma Communications (Gamma) Company to upgrade Nasstar’s national voice infrastructure.

Gamma Group acquired Techland in 2024, a Gold Ribbon Communications Inc, Distributor. Techland is proud to the UK’s leading Value-Added Distributor for Ribbon UC enablement products & software. Gamma Telecom and Nasstar have a long‑term strategic relationship, working closely within the broader communications services ecosystem to support business customers. This partnership enables Nasstar to deliver robust connectivity, cloud, and voice solutions to their enterprise customers, backed by Gamma’s resilient infrastructure and industry expertise. Techland has worked with Nasstar for many years, offering expert knowledge on the Ribbon portfolio to provide the right solutions to meet their requirements and upgrade their voice platform.

Nasstar is deploying Ribbon’s SIP-enabled voice platform, including centralised routing via PSX, voice security via SBC and centralised management via RAMP. Ribbon Analytics provides actionable insights into network performance, and leverages machine learning for fraud detection. This advanced architecture supports national interconnect, SIP PBX trunking and Microsoft Teams integrations.
