Communications and IT services provider Comm-Tech is marking 40 years in business with the launch of a new visual identity and website, reflecting the evolution of the company and the wider range of technology services it now provides.
Founded in Norfolk in 1986, Comm-Tech has grown alongside the rapid development of business technology. While communications and connectivity remain an important part of the business, its offering has expanded significantly, with IT services now playing an increasingly important role in supporting customers.
The new brand identity introduces a simpler, more modern Comm-Tech logo, with the words ‘Voice & Data’ removed to better reflect the breadth of the business today.
The new identity has been launched alongside a completely redesigned website, providing a clearer and easier way for customers to understand Comm-Tech’s services and find the support they need. The bold, modern site gives greater prominence to the company’s IT capabilities alongside its communications, connectivity and other technology services.
A brand ready for the future
Commenting on the changes, Justin Millar, Managing Director at Comm-Tech, said, “Being in our 40th year felt like a natural point for our brand to reflect the business we have become. Technology has changed enormously over the last four decades, and so has Comm-Tech. We now provide a much broader range of communications, connectivity and IT services, and we wanted our identity to reflect that evolution.” He continues:
“The new brand is a more modern and accurate representation of Comm-Tech today. Removing ‘Voice & Data’ from the logo is part of that – those services remain important to us, but they no longer define everything we do. We wanted an identity that gives us the space to reflect the full breadth of our expertise and where the business is heading.”
The rebrand follows an internal brand workshop which explored how Comm-Tech is perceived, the qualities that are most important to the business and how its identity should evolve. Trust, responsiveness and long-term customer relationships emerged as some of the strongest and most consistent characteristics associated with the company.
The new identity represents an evolution rather than a change in direction, retaining the qualities that have helped Comm-Tech build long-standing customer relationships while presenting the business in a more contemporary way. While the brand and website have changed, customers can expect the same people and the same approach to service that have been central to Comm-Tech for the past 40 years.
Justin adds:
“The most important thing is that although the way we look has changed, the things that matter to our customers haven’t. It’s the same team, the same relationships and the same commitment to providing excellent service and support. Our customers have trusted us for many years to help them with technology that is important to their businesses. We want to continue building those relationships as we expand what we can offer them.”
The new website, found here, is designed to make that wider offering easier to understand, with clearer navigation and a simpler structure helping visitors quickly find relevant information about Comm-Tech’s services.
The launch marks the beginning of the next chapter for the business as it celebrates four decades of supporting customers with their communications and technology needs.
