Westcoast Cloud Expands Microsoft Teams Reach by adding Voice by Gamma

Westcoast Cloud partners can add Microsoft Teams voice to their customer base ahead of the PSTN switch-off

Westcoast Cloud has added Voice by Gamma to its marketplace, giving partners an additional option to provide Microsoft Teams-integrated calling services to their customers. The offering provides a simple way to bring Teams calling into existing Microsoft customer relationships.

Dan Simpson, Chief Operating Officer at Westcoast Cloud, has said:

“Our partners are already at the heart of their customers’ Microsoft environments, so there is a clear opportunity for them to play a bigger role in how those customers communicate too. Adding Voice by Gamma strengthens the proposition they can take to those customers and creates another valuable recurring revenue opportunity within their existing Microsoft business. For us, this is also about making it easier for partners to broaden what they offer without adding unnecessary complexity.”

Voice by Gamma adds to Westcoast Cloud’s in-depth cloud offering across the Microsoft ecosystem, adding proven voice capabilities and business communications expertise. Through technical and commercial integration, Westcoast Cloud partners will be able to provision and sell Voice by Gamma through the familiar Westcoast Cloud marketplace, with Teams-integrated calling and unlimited UK and international minutes bundled into a single SKU.

Voice by Gamma uses Microsoft Operator Connect, Microsoft’s operator-certified programme for connecting Teams to the public telephone network.

For Westcoast Cloud partners, this creates an opportunity to build on existing Microsoft customer relationships, broaden their Microsoft practice and create additional recurring revenue through voice.

The single-SKU model gives partners a simpler alternative to traditional per-minute billing, with more predictable calling costs for customers and less administrative complexity.

Chris Wade, Chief Marketing and Product Officer at Gamma, said:

“For many partners, the next growth opportunity isn’t about finding an entirely new customer. It’s about creating more value within the Microsoft relationships they already have. Voice is a natural part of that opportunity, particularly as more businesses move their communications into Teams.

“This partnership is about making that opportunity easier to capture. Westcoast Cloud has the Microsoft ecosystem, partner relationships and route to market; Gamma brings the voice infrastructure and expertise. Bringing those strengths together gives partners a stronger way to grow their Microsoft practice and build recurring revenue around a service their customers increasingly need.”
