Lenovo today announced the appointment of Andy Rhodes as the new General Manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland (UK&I) region.
Andy joins Lenovo from HP, where he held several senior leadership roles, including Division President & General Manager of HP’s Video Conferencing & Accessories Division, as well as global leadership of the HP Commercial PC business. Previously, Andy spent more than a decade at Dell in a range of executive positions across its data centre, workstation, and Industrial IoT businesses.
Commenting on his appointment, Andy Rhodes has said:
“I’m genuinely excited to be joining Lenovo at a time of such rapid growth and opportunity, particularly as Hybrid AI reshapes our industry and how we serve customers. Lenovo has a clear strategy, strong momentum and incredible people; a combination that matters.”
After two years leading the UK&I organisation through a period of significant transformation and progress, Adrian Criddle will be transitioning out of the role of General Manager to pursue new opportunities. Adrian will remain with the organisation for an interim period and will work closely with Lenovo leadership to onboard Andy into his new role.
Matt Dobrodziej, Lenovo SVP & Europe President, enthusiastically comments:
“I’m excited to welcome Andy to Lenovo. He’s a highly experienced technology industry leader and a great fit for our UK & Ireland business. I’m confident he will further strengthen our business across the UK and Ireland while bringing a huge amount of energy and enthusiasm to the role. I’d also like to thank Adrian for the key role he’s played in deepening our relationships with customers and partners, and his commitment, professionalism and care for the team. We wish him well for the future.”
