Solstice AV has a new UK partnership with Matrox Video, manufacturers of high-performance video technology.
The partnership will bring Matrox’s video processing, AV-over-IP, video wall and KVM solutions into the Solstice AV channel, giving resellers and integrators access to a broader suite of technology for control rooms, corporate media, live events, collaboration and other advanced AV applications.
As AV environments evolve, increasingly driven by IP workflows, higher resolution content and distributed operations, resellers are looking for video technology that is both scalable and reliable. Matrox products are designed around quality, interoperability and open standards, span IP KVM extenders, high-density video wall appliances, encoders, decoders and converters that support both compressed and uncompressed AV-over-IP workflows, including IPMX and ST 2110-ready standards.
Michael Tulip, Managing Director at Solstice AV, commenting on the partnership, said:
“We’re seeing customers ask bigger questions about how video, networks and IP interoperate in control rooms, collaboration spaces and live production environments. Partnering with Matrox gives resellers access to a set of solutions that are engineered for those demands. Their technology is known for performance, interoperability and real-world reliability, and our focus is on standing behind that with the support, training and confidence partners need to sell and install successfully.”
Solstice AV will support Matrox partners with product training, demonstrations, technical enablement and marketing support, helping resellers and integrators confidently position and deploy Matrox solutions alongside their existing AV offerings.
Cecilia Wills , Sales Director Western Europe and MEA at Matrox, added:
“Matrox has a long tradition of developing video solutions that help integrators solve today’s AV challenges, from video walls to distributed AV-over-IP systems. Working with Solstice AV gives us a strong UK-focused partner that shares our commitment to quality, interoperability and solid reseller support. Together we can help partners build more capable, flexible AV systems that deliver real value to end customers.”
Solstice AV and Matrox plan to showcase the expanded portfolio at ISE 2026, held between 3 to 6 February in Barcelona, Spain.
