- New cloud-based platform gives IT greater control across retail locations
- New headset to keep associates connected
Introducing Perform Plus and Perform 55
Jabra has announced Jabra Perform Plus and Jabra Perform 55, an integrated retail communication and device fleet management solution for multi-shift retail environments. Together, they give retail IT and operations teams centralised control of shared headsets across stores and locations and help store associates stay connected.
As retailers deploy more connected technology across their stores, managing growing numbers of shared devices across locations becomes increasingly complex. Store associates need fast access to colleagues and information while serving customers, while IT and operations teams need a scalable way to deploy, configure and secure that technology.
Research from 2025 shows that most store associates surveyed reported challenges getting timely assistance or information, while almost all stated in the same survey that the right technology helps them complete tasks faster. In a different industry survey conducted in February, it was established that 81% of frontline workers experience device or app issues that stop them from working at least monthly, with nearly 60% experiencing work-stopping mobile issues weekly or more often.
Jabra Perform Plus and Jabra Perform 55 bring these needs together, combining centralised device fleet management with hands-free communication.
Launching as an Early Access Version in Q4 2026, Jabra Perform Plus supports Jabra Perform 55 at launch, with support for additional Jabra Perform devices planned to follow.

Developed based on direct feedback from retail teams, the Jabra Perform 55 retail headset gives store associates instant access to colleagues, managers and information through push-to-talk and voice-led workflows, helping them resolve questions without having to step away from the customer.
Based on internal testing, high-performance microphones block 99% of background noise so associates can communicate clearly, even in busy retail environments, while the headset’s lightweight, discreet design is suited to customer-facing roles. It is compatible with leading push-to-talk platforms including Zebra Workcloud Sync, Zello and Zoom, Jabra Perform 55 integrates seamlessly into existing retail workflows.
As retailers increase their investment in AI, voice is emerging as a key interface for frontline workers.
According to early findings from upcoming Jabra research, 96% of retailers expect AI investment to increase, 71% expect voice AI to be deployed at scale within two years4. Together, Jabra Perform 55 and Jabra Perform Plus provide a foundation for introducing future voice-enabled AI workflows across retail operations.
To support busy shared-shift environments, Jabra is also introducing the Jabra Perform 5-Bay Universal Charging Base, helping retailers keep shared headsets organised, charged and ready between shifts.
Andrew Doyle, VP for Frontline Solutions at Jabra says,
“Retailers are under pressure to keep store associates connected while making growing technology deployments easier for IT to manage across locations. With Jabra Perform Plus and Jabra Perform 55, we are bringing together the retail communication endpoint and platform behind it for scalable, voice-led store communication. Our goal is to help associates stay connected in the moment, give IT and operations teams greater control and prepare retailers for future AI-assisted workflows.”
Jabra Perform 55 headset joins other headsets in the Jabra Perform family – Jabra Perform 10 and Jabra Perform 45 SE – to give retailers a broader choice of headset solutions.
