Rocket Fibre, a member network of the London Internet Exchange (LINX), has announced a significant upgrade to its service offering by becoming a LINX ConneXions Reseller Partner in London and Manchester.
The upgrade enables Rocket Fibre to resell LINX services at LINX in London and LINX Manchester, expanding its product portfolio and delivering enhanced connectivity options to its customers.
Rocket Fibre is proud of the strength and openness of their network. With a UK and European footprint, they are present in key hubs such as Amsterdam, Paris and Frankfurt and are in the process of bringing Madrid, Lisbon, Barcelona and Marseille online, making them one of the fastest growing peering networks in the UK.
Through the LINX ConneXions Reseller program, networks can use Rocket Fibre’s backbone to reach LINX from anywhere across their European presence. As a ConneXions Reseller Partner, Rocket Fibre provides streamlined access to LINX’s peering infrastructure, enabling networks across Europe and the UK to benefit from faster, more resilient and cost-effective interconnection solutions.
Tom Sanders, CEO of Rocket Fibre, commented:
“We’re excited to join LINX as a ConneXions Partner. Our growth is driven by one simple goal, to make the internet faster, more resilient and more efficient for everyone who can connect to us. This partnership extends the reach of our extensive network footprint and makes it even easier for networks to access the LINX ecosystem across the UK. At the same time, Rocket Fibre is expanding rapidly across Europe, adding a new Point of Presence every week. By combining our growing European reach and high-performance connectivity with LINX’s world-class peering fabric, we’re enabling our customers and partners to benefit from faster, more resilient and more cost-effective interconnection operations.”
LINX ConneXions Reseller Partners also resell additional services like the exclusive Microsoft Azure Peering Service (MAPS).
Colin Peckham, New Business and Partner Executive for LINX, commented:
“It’s really impressive what Rocket Fibre have done for the UK’s connectivity scene in such a short period and now the exciting expansion into Europe. We are really proud to be part of their journey, choosing LINX as a interconnection facilitator from day one. Having worked with Tom for a number of years I’m confident that the Rocket Fibre and LINX partner proposition will deliver growth and expansion for both parties.”
LINX are critical, national, digital infrastructure for the UK and have been operating since 1994. Their strategic interconnection hubs in London, Manchester, Scotland and Wales encourage regional traffic distribution for lower latency connectivity experiences.
