Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe has introduced the Sharp LM Series, a new line of mid-size interactive displays, designed for medium-to-small meeting spaces. It is positioned as successor to the NEC MExx1 IR-2 models and a line-up expansion to the Sharp LC, LB and LA Series.
Available in 43-inch and 55-inch sizes, the new displays are tailored for office huddle rooms, focus rooms and group learning areas at higher education facilities. The LM Series is able to deliver interactive solutions for retail displays, wayfinding systems in shopping malls and immersive experiences in museums.
Collaborative tools are at the heart of the Sharp LM Series. Intuitive Pen-on-Paper writing, a built-in whiteboard, annotation overlay mode and Windows Ink support, boost creativity and group collaboration. Using the on-board EShare app, content can be wirelessly shared from any personal device to the display without the need for apps or dongles. A single USB-C cable transmits data, video and audio output and power delivery for the simplest and seamless connection of your notebook to the display.
Its secure operating system meets the highest IT security standards, as well as guaranteed support of security patches for up to five years is offered. The series supports IEEE802.1X for secure connection to the internet for both Wi-Fi and LAN.
“The Sharp LM Series redefines interactive displays by combining user-friendliness, security, and flexibility to meet the demands of modern workspaces,” emphasises Ralph Kolen, Product Manager Interactive Displays at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe. “With this new series, we are strategically addressing the growing demand for collaborative and interactive solutions across multiple industries.”
The new Sharp LM Series displays will be available from March 2025 and will be showcased for the first time at ISE 2025 on booth E500 in Hall 3 at Fira Barcelona, Spain, from 4 to 7 February 2025.
