TD SYNNEX acquires Apptium, expanding its aaS offering

TD SYNNEX acquired Apptium in July 2025.

Apptium is a software development company with a cloud commerce platform, and TD SYNNEX’s acquisition reflects its technology solutions strategy to expand the company’s depth and breadth of cloud and everything-as-a-service offerings.

TD SYNNEX’s StreamOne platform is a cloud commerce and management platform designed to help partners simplify operations and scale their cloud business.

StreamOne integrates major cloud providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, offering a unified experience across 80+ countries. The Apptium acquisition will accelerate TD SYNNEX’s ability to serve e-commerce needs, simplify complexity, and enhance its agentic AI, SaaS, IaaS and XaaS capabilities.

Commenting on the acquisition, Patrick Zammit, CEO, TD SYNNEX, has said “Rick Kapani (Founder and CEO of Apptium) and his team have built a transformative platform that has already delivered a meaningful impact underpinning our own solutions orchestration capabilities. Bringing this technical expertise to TD SYNNEX allows us to execute on our strategy and continue investments in serving our customers as well as the incoming customers of Apptium. Through this platform we will strengthen support for our ecosystem partners and expand our addressable market over the next several years.”

As a wholly owned subsidiary, Apptium, a TD SYNNEX company, will continue to function as a separate organisation to preserve and sustain its entrepreneurial culture and the pace of product innovation it has established in the market. Rick Kapani will continue to lead the business as General Manager and Senior Vice President, reporting to Chief Strategy and Technology Officer Sergio Farache. Apptium will also continue serving its existing customers via the Apptium Cloud Commerce Platform.
