Snom’s New IP End Devices: D812 and D815W

The two new IP end devices, D812 and D815W, and the D8C expansion module seamlessly complement the D8xx product line, offering everything needed for modern office communication at attractive entry-level prices.

Snom, the premium brand for IP based communication, has announced the immediate availability of two new IP end devices and an expansion module for its D8xx series.

Snom’s D812 is the perfect everyday companion thanks to its cutting-edge technology, outstanding voice quality and elegant design. It is equipped with four context-sensitive keys and a further eight which are freely programmable, as well as Snom’s reliable five-way navigation button. The new model of the D8xx series can be intuitively adapted to the needs of the user, whether it’s setting up call groups, speed dials or other similar functions.

Next in the D8xx series is the Snom D815W, which is a larger model and an excellent option for everyday use in any type of office environment. Like the D812, the D815W has antibacterial housing, a 5-inch TFT colour display and supports up to 12 SIP identities. The model’s two gigabit capability and its two USB 2.0 ports ensure maximum connectivity. With integrated Wi-Fi and a total of ten keys with up to forty different functions, the D815W combines elegant design with unrivalled versatility and performance for its price range.

Both end devices can be remotely configured using auto-provisioning or SRAPS and offer the high security and HD audio quality standards expected of Snom products.

Steven Try, Channel Manager UK&I at Snom, said: “With the new D812 and D815W models, we are expanding the D8xx series with attractive options in the mid-price market; both offer high performance that meets the everyday needs of most work environments. The D812 and the D815W are affordable solutions for companies who value functionality, design and quality.”

Last but not least, the Snom D8xx family now has its own stylish expansion module, the D8C. It has a large, high-resolution colour display with a clear user interface. Up to three Snom D8C modules can be added via plug & play to the USB port of a D8xx deskphone. The module provides a complete overview of call activity whilst also providing the end device with a wide range of application possibilities.

Steven Try added: “The D8C has been eagerly anticipated by our customers. The D8xx series has been very popular – these three new products are just the start of several other launches that we have planned for this series.”
