RingCentral, Inc. has appointed Abhey Lamba as Chief Financial Officer. Lamba will oversee the company’s financial functions, including planning, controllership, tax, treasury, corporate development, and investor relations.
With over 30 years of experience in finance and technology, Lamba joins RingCentral from Amazon Web Services, where he was Vice President of Finance for Global Infrastructure, focusing on Gen AI investments. His previous roles include finance leadership at Cisco Systems and Autodesk, as well as 15 years as a sell-side analyst covering enterprise technology at top firms like UBS and Mizuho Securities.
RingCentral’s Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Vlad Shmunis, praised Lamba’s exceptional skills and track record of driving growth and profitability at leading technology companies. He highlighted Lamba’s experience with AI technologies, expressing excitement about Lamba’s addition to the leadership team and the continued focus on profitable growth and margin expansion.
