Giacom adds EE to its Wholesale Mobile offering

Giacom has announced a new agreement with BT Wholesale to bring EE Mobile services to its partner community through its established Wholesale Mobile proposition. The launch adds EE to Giacom’s existing VMO2 and Vodafone Wholesale portfolios, and for the first time, giving resellers and MSPs access to all three major UK networks.

EE’s mobile network continues to receive extensive recognition including UK’s best overall network by RootMetrics® every year since 2014. The new proposition will be delivered through Giacom’s new set of tariffs, EE Everyway, designed to give partners greater flexibility when building mobile propositions for business customers. Available on both 30-day and 24-month terms, EE Everyway is designed to fit partners’ business models while giving them full control over margins, terms and product structure.

Self Service and automation is at the heart of the new offering. Giacom have worked closely with BT Wholesale to ensure EE Wholesale Mobile is fully integrated into Giacom’s Cloud Market portal. With the option of partner API integration, partners can manage all three networks in one place using the same fast and familiar order journey already used for VMO2 and Vodafone. For existing partners, this marks a significant expansion of capability without adding operational complexity. There are no new portals to learn, no additional processes, and no disruption to existing workflows. Partners simply gain EE on top of everything they already manage today, with one unified view of their entire mobile base and one dedicated support team ready to help.

The proposition includes features such as Data Rollover and Data Optimiser, designed to help partners increase value for customers while reducing the administrative effort involved in managing tariffs. These capabilities can support better cost control for customers, minimise bill shock and reduce the volume of billing queries, while giving partners a clearer way to differentiate their mobile offer.

Gavin Jones, Director, Wholesale Partners at BT Wholesale, has said:

“Demand for flexible, well integrated mobile services continues to grow across the channel. By adding EE Wholesale Mobile to Giacom’s portfolio, we’re supporting partners with greater choice and a simpler route to market, while helping them grow their mobile business without adding complexity. Reliable mobile connectivity remains central to how businesses operate day to day, supporting everything from frontline work to collaboration and customer service. Access to EE’s award winning network means partners can meet those expectations with a mobile service built on strong coverage and performance, delivered through a model that fits how they work.”

EE services are available to all Wholesale Mobile partners and form part of Giacom’s ongoing investment in its mobile portfolio. In the coming months, Giacom plans to extend support for EE services across its Cloud Market Tools environment. Cloud Market Tools is a modular software suite that supports the full operational journey for partners, from sales ordering and provisioning to billing and customer self-service. These developments are focused on improving automation, reducing manual processes and supporting long-term business growth.

Andrew Wilford, Managing Director – Mobile at Giacom, has said:

“Mobile remains one of the most important services for UK SMBs, and for many years we’ve delivered mobile solutions that enable partners to build bespoke propositions for their customers. Our agreement with BT Wholesale adds EE mobile connectivity to our portfolio, giving partners access to all three major UK mobile networks with high levels of self-service and integrated API automation. With EE’s strong performance and coverage, partners can support customers with confidence as they grow their mobile business. The opportunity for the UK channel to grow its market share in mobile is significant, and at Giacom we are committed to supporting that growth.”

The launch strengthens Giacom’s Wholesale Mobile proposition and reflects growing demand from partners for flexible, manageable mobile services delivered through an automated and integrated operational model.
