Bose Professional Introduces EdgeMax LP Models for Ceilings

Bose Professional has globally released their latest in-ceiling loudspeakers, EdgeMax EM90-LP and EM180-LP. These LP models are designed for smaller rooms with limited ceiling space. With a 4-inch backcan depth, 60% shallower than previous models, and an 80-degree vertical coverage angle, they are ideal for conference rooms and workspaces with lower ceilings, and are now available worldwide.

Revamping Audio Experiences: EdgeMax Line Expands

In a bid to transform audio experiences, Bose Professional has declared the global availability of its new models, EdgeMax EM90-LP and EM180-LP. These innovative in-ceiling speakers are an extension of the EdgeMax line, offering powerful and asymmetrical sound coverage to smaller rooms and challenging spaces. They are designed explicitly with lower ceilings in mind, tackling some of the more challenging installation requirements. Sporting a 4-inch backcan depth, which is 60% shallower than the original models, these LP speakers are perfect for rooms with above-ceiling restrictions and tighter clearances.

Designed with Precision in Mind

The new EdgeMax LP models also feature an 80-degree vertical coverage angle.

“EdgeMax packed the power, technology and brute force of a big, bulky surface-mount speaker into a discreet, elegant ceiling-mount design. These new LP models, with their shallow backcan and 80° vertical coverage, provide installers and designers the freedom and flexibility to choose the model types that best suit their specific needs,” said Shawn Watts, Director of Product at Bose Professional.

Bose Professional’s EdgeMax LP speakers demonstrate the company’s commitment to creating audio solutions tailored to the real world, providing flexible sound coverage. The future of sound has indeed become more exciting with these innovations.
