Founded in 2013, Wemtech is an engineer-led IT business that helps organisations get more from their technology. The company can provide a fully outsourced IT service, work alongside an existing IT team or support businesses with individual projects.
Two new appointments
Wemtech Solutions has appointed experienced technology executive Daniel Watson-Jones and marketing specialist Helen Prothero as it expands its services and customer base.
Daniel joins Wemtech as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) following a 20-year career with OCSL, CANCOM and Telefónica Tech, most recently serving as Head of Enterprise Sales. He has been involved in the growth of the business from around 50 employees to approximately 1,000 in the UK.
Daniel has spent his career working with businesses of all sizes, building strong customer relationships and leading award-winning commercial teams. He brings extensive experience across the technology industry and has been recognised for helping organisations tackle complex business challenges.
Daniel’s appointment also reunites him with Iain Maclean and Tim Thrower, whom he worked with earlier in his career at OCSL. The pair subsequently founded Peach PE, which is backing Wemtech’s next stage of growth.
At Wemtech, Daniel will focus on growing the business and developing its customer relationships. With an established reputation for managed IT, cloud and cybersecurity, alongside expertise in AI, automation and technology optimisation, Wemtech is well placed to look after customers’ everyday IT needs and help them make the most of what technology can offer.
Daniel will also serve as Chief Revenue Officer for Peach PE, supporting commercial strategy and growth across its portfolio businesses.

Helen joins as Marketing Director, bringing experience of working with global firms and scaling businesses, with a focus on championing customer experience and building brands around clients’ needs. She will lead the development of Wemtech’s brand and market presence alongside Daniel and the team.
