Taking place over the Easter bank holiday weekend from 1–6 April 2026, the event will transform London into a city-wide Age of Empires battleground, spanning multiple iconic venues before culminating in a historic Grand Final at the Royal Albert Hall.
Red Bull Wololo: Londinium will bring together eight Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition players and four Age of Empires IV players to compete for a US$250,000 prize pool across some of London’s most iconic venues. Inspired by the city’s Roman heritage — a nod to one of the playable civilisations in the original game — the eighth and final edition of the tournament takes over the capital for a week of elite competition.
Get through the Group Stages, then Semi-Finals and onto Grand Final
Competition begins at a dedicated studio location in London for the Group Stages (1–3 April), before moving to the 800-seat ODEON Luxe Cinema in Leicester Square for the Semi-Finals (4–5 April). The Grand Final on 6 April takes place at the Royal Albert Hall in front of over 3,000 fans — the first time an esports event has ever been staged at the legendary venue. In a Wololo first, a live orchestra will perform the Age of Empires soundtrack during the final, elevating the competition into a cinematic spectacle.
The tournament will also feature a set of brand-new, British-themed maps designed exclusively for the event, all of which will be made available in-game following the tournament.
