IP communication specialist Snom is celebrating continued growth in the UK. The business has signed up 33 new reseller and distributor partners in 2022, while also picking up an award win.
Snom, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, is headquartered in Berlin but operates globally. It expanded its operations from Germany to the UK in 2003.
The company capped off its successful year of business recently by winning the ‘Best Comms Device’ award for its M900 DECT Multicell Base Station at the Comms Council Awards. The Base Station helps organisations in building large DECT-based telephony infrastructures, supporting thousands of handsets and asset tracking devices.
Lee Underwood, Snom’s UK channel manager, said: “We’re seeing increased interest in IP telephony as a communications tool for UK businesses. The impending ISDN switch off and demand for flexible working post-pandemic makes the need for these solutions even more pressing.
“Our recent award win, and equally the recognition that other IP providers received at the same awards ceremony, is testament to this growing interest.
“2022 has been an excellent year for the Snom team in the UK. Despite supply chain issues causing problems for businesses globally, we’ve been able to consistently provide customers with our best-in-class telephony solutions. We’d like to thank all our partners for their continued support – they’ve played an instrumental part in our success this year.”
Snom has built up a large network of UK resellers and distributors in the UK, including Clarion, Time Communications and NFON. These partners stock Snom’s wide range of telephony products, which include desk phones, wireless phones, audio conference devices, headsets and base stations.
As a result, you will find Snom devices installed in many types of businesses – from care homes and hospitals to nurseries and estate agents.
