Personalised Audio Demand sees EPOS Hit One Million Download Milestone

In an era of customised choice, headset and speakerphone manufacturer EPOS, has seen demand for more tailored audio experiences continue to intensify – triggering more than one million downloads of a dedicated app.

Jessica Harrison, UK and Ireland, Sales Director, adds insight, stating:

“With the return to the office in full swing and others still working in more diverse ways across different locations, the way we communicate continues to adapt to individual needs and requirements. Equipment matters. But it’s more than that. Users have individual tastes where we recognise one size doesn’t fit all. Personalised audio is now the de facto standard in an increasing world of app-based technology.”

One device that ‘does it all’

Jessica highlights how lifestyle trends are evolving too based on one device that ‘does it all’ for work and play, such as music as well as business calls and meetings, stating:

“People want to create audio their way in their space. Everyone is different; like a set of clothes, one size and one style doesn’t fit all. Customisation counts. The personal touch, a tailored experience where hardware is no longer just a basic piece of hardware but can be modified too.”

Convenience and instant access to information, updates and functionality are some of the main driving forces in a new era, according to Jessica.

EPOS Connect

Jessica notes that demand for EPOS Connect continues to grow and has now surpassed one million downloads. She continues:

“We’ve also developed EPOS Manager, a Software as a Service (SaaS) device management tool that empowers IT administrators to remotely monitor EPOS audio devices, update firmware, and configure headset settings with ease. Critical functions such as data backup and encryption ensure secure and reliable operations. Whether part of an organisation using EPOS Manager for centralised device management or an individual utilising EPOS Connect as a standalone application, EPOS provides real-time updates and enables end-users to customise settings for optimal call quality and a tailored audio experience.”

Jessica believes users are demanding more integrated solutions, as the lines have blurred between personal and professional headset use. The EPOS ADAPT E1 buds have been specifically created for this sweetspot.

“Today there’s a desire to combine music with work and personal calls more than ever before, as part of a work from anywhere culture. Lifestyle trends are shifting. There’s summer vibes for people to be out more, a summer house, a walk by the beach etc. People can work and play anywhere there’s a mobile signal and need to tweak their audio accordingly. People don’t just follow the crowd anymore. Expectations have shifted and consumer trends have reshaped work expectations.”

Jessica concluded:

“In many ways the cloud has revolutionised modern communication and how people interact with devices. Application-based and software-as-a-service technology is highly accessible and flexible, allowing for seamless activation of updates and new services remotely – providing more functionality, control and added value to hardware.

“Whether people prefer their steak rare, medium or well done, they also require their audio to be adaptable too.”
