EKINOPS’s Board of Directors have appointed Lionel Chmilewsky as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 12 January 12 2026. Ekinops supplies optical transport, branch routing and cybersecurity SASE solutions for telecom operators and enterprises.
Lionel Chmilewsky brings extensive international experience in technology, telecommunications and cybersecurity, notably in the UK and the US, and is recognised for leading strategic growth initiatives and complex transformation plans as well as building and managing high-performing multinational teams.
Under Lionel Chmilewsky’s leadership, Ekinops will continue to implement its “Bridge“ strategic plan, focusing on innovation, customer satisfaction and expansion into high-growth markets.
Regarding previous Ekinops CEO Philippe Moulin, Chairman of the Board Hugues Lepic has commented:

Prior to joining Ekinops, Lionel Chmilewsky served as President and CEO of TrustBuilder, a leading European SaaS cybersecurity company, specialising in MFA identity & access management, and as CEO of Corero Network Security plc. Chmilewsky has also served as CEO of Cambridge Broadband Networks and Comverse IP Communications and currently serves as Chairman of Hive Streaming.
