HP is bringing together hardware, software, services, and intelligence into a unified solution to help retailers operate with greater visibility, consistency, and control. HP’s expanded enterprise retail solution is built to address one of Retail’s most persistent sources of friction: disconnected, aging in-store systems that slow operations, complicate fulfillment, and put pressure on margins while struggling to deliver simple, unified experiences for shoppers.
“Retailers need technology that simplifies, not adds complexity, and creates systems that work together across channels, the same way shoppers experience their brands,” said Faisal Masud, President, Worldwide Digital & Lifecycle Services at HP. “Retail is overdue for reinvention, and we’re excited to help our customers create the future.”
In 2026, consumers blend digital discovery and in-store fulfillment in their shopping, and retailers often seek ways to modernise operations without introducing risk to core systems. HP has spotted an opportunity to help move retailers forward – without forcing risky, sweeping change nor replacing core systems.
Modern retail blends online and in-store shopping, flexible fulfillment, and easy returns. Friction occurs when store systems operate in silos, either at the checkout, behind the counter or across the supply chain. HP’s Intelligent Retail Infrastructure addresses these challenges by aligning devices, software, services, and AI into a connected foundation that helps retailers operate with greater clarity, consistency and control.
Enterprise POS Solution with New HP WXP for Retail
HP’s Enterprise POS Solution are built on HP’s trusted POS hardware, and the solution integrates software compatibility, enterprise security, device telemetry, and managed services into a single platform. New to this solution is HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP), which extends intelligence across store environments. By providing real-time telemetry, predictive insights, and remote management across POS systems, kiosks, and peripherals, WXP helps IT and operations teams identify issues early, resolve them remotely, and maintain uptime at scale, helping ensure positive customer experiences. Retailers gain better visibility into store performance, faster issue resolution, and lower operational overhead across distributed environments.
HP Engage 10 Display and Integrated Payments Solution
The new HP Engage 10 display is a compact 10-inch display, purpose-built for retail environments, bringing together tap-to-pay (SoftPOS) with optional integrated NFC for contactless payments and verification, built-in camera, and barcode scanner all in a modern form factor designed for fast, secure transactions and flexible deployment.
HP’s Payments Solution connects payment-ready devices with a certified ecosystem of global payment partners. Supporting EMV, NFC, mobile, and contactless payments, the solution creates a more frictionless experience for all, including greater convenience for shoppers and faster checkouts for retailers.
