New appointments in 2025/26 across the UK, Germany and Italy.
GCX Managed Services (GCX) recently made three strategic appointments across its European channel organisation as the company strengthens its channel presence across key markets.
GCX has a wider strategy, which is to build dedicated channel expertise in each major sales region, helping partners access clearer routes to market, stronger local support and GCX’s global managed network and security capabilities.
Josh Evans joins to lead channel development in the UK, bringing extensive experience in the UK connectivity market. Specialising in building new relationships and scaling partner networks, Josh will focus on expanding both sell-to and sell-with opportunities while supporting partners serving international customers.
Klaus Marzell joins in Germany to drive channel growth across the wider DACH region. A seasoned channel leader with more than 30 years’ experience across domestic and international markets, Klaus will work closely with technology vendors, service providers and enterprise consultancies to accelerate growth across the region.
Matteo Badii joins in Italy, bringing more than two decades of telecommunications experience and a strong track record in both inbound and outbound international wholesale sales. Matteo will focus on strengthening strategic partner relationships and identifying new opportunities across the technology and telecoms ecosystem.
The expanded team will support service providers, telecom operators, SASE providers and technology partners looking to simplify service delivery, extend their market reach and access global connectivity capabilities through trusted channel relationships.
Michael Hartmann, Chief Revenue Officer at GCX Managed Services, has said, “These appointments strengthen our channel capability across Europe and reflect our commitment to making it easier for partners to do business with GCX. As more service providers and technology partners look for simple, secure and scalable ways to extend their reach, we’re seeing strong demand from partners that need support delivering international services.” He continues:
“By investing in experienced local teams, we’re giving partners access to market expertise backed by our global network, managed services portfolio and technical capabilities, helping them move faster, reduce complexity and deliver reliable connectivity for their customers wherever they operate. Channel-led growth remains a key part of our strategy, and we’re continuing to invest in the people, tools and support that make it easier for our partners to operate, scale and succeed.”
GCX is also improving the partner experience through enhanced pricing and quoting capabilities, AI-powered tools that enable faster budgetary pricing, and expanded onboarding, training and support resources. The company is continuing to invest in automation and operational improvements designed to simplify engagement throughout the partner lifecycle.
Looking ahead, GCX plans to build on the momentum of a 50% increase in its channel partner base through targeted partner recruitment, increased co-sell activity and deeper collaboration across regions, helping partners unlock new opportunities and deliver greater value to customers worldwide.
