Cisco has named Gamma Communications Plc (“Gamma”) the world’s largest Webex Wholesale Provider, as Gamma reached 100,000 active users on the Webex Wholesale platform earlier this month. The achievement was announced at Cisco’s Webex One conference, which took place from 5 to 8 October, in Austin, Texas.
Marcel Kardol, Director Service Provider Collaboration Sales EMEA at Cisco, commented on social media:
“If there was one single reason to go to Austin,TX and join Webex One it was to commemorate Gamma, as first service provider globally, to cross the 100.000 provisioned users milestone on Webex Wholesale!”
At the recent Gammaverse event, held Thursday 8 October 2026, John Murphy, CEO Gamma Business, directly addressed the 100,000 Webex seats milestone during the opening market session at Gammaverse, saying:
“Firstly, I’m really proud and excited to announce that Gamma has reached a fantastic milestone. We now have over 100,000 Webex seats installed, the largest wholesale installed base globally.”
He then added:
“We had over 100 early adopters as part of our program before we even launched the Webex product. Many of you in the room, and thank you for being part of that. But really, that was you trusting us to take a global platform like Cisco Webex and make that work for the channel. It’s been our most successful product launch ever.”
Webex for Gamma is now launched in the UK, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands, and Gamma have announced that new capabilities will be added to the platform.
