Earlier this week it was announced that David Meads has decided to retire from Cisco at the end of July.
Gordon Thomson, President for Cisco EMEA, in thanking him for his service, has stated:
“David’s career has spanned continents, generations of technology, and decades of impact with our customers and partners. He’s helped shape our EMEA organisation not just through results, but through the way he’s built teams, backed talent, and constantly championed others in growing their careers.”
Herarty to take over from Meads
Shane Heraty will become Cisco’s VP & GM of the Middle East, Africa, Türkiye, Romania & CIS. Commenting on the transition, Thomson has stated:
“Anyone who has met or worked alongside Shane will know the experience, energy, and passion he brings to everything he does. I’ve seen for myself the way he understands the unique spirit of our teams in the region, and how focused he is on what’s next for our customers, partners, and employees to grow and succeed together.”
Heraty is currently the Managing Director for Cisco, Africa. On being appointed, he has stated:
