Castilla-La Mancha Government and SMART Technologies Partner to Install Technology Center for Social Services

The Government of Castilla-La Mancha and SMART Technologies have signed a protocol of intent for the installation, in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), of a world center for technological solutions applied to the field of social services. This will involve an investment of around 15 million euros and the creation of 50 highly-qualified jobs.

Ruiz Molina, the Minister of Finance and Public Administrations, explained that this center is going to dedicate itself to the development of new hardware and software products applied to the field of social services, as well as to carry out training actions for professionals in the sector, mainly those in which they carry out their work. in nursing homes.

The counselor recalled that this multinational already has a Center for Technology Applied to Education (CTAE) in Talavera de la Reina and has expressed the regional government’s satisfaction that SMART Technologies has once again chosen Castilla-La Mancha to develop “a new initiative that is going to provide us with more innovative capacity and greater technological knowledge”.
